U.S. Army Recommends Rapid Resolution Therapy® as a Private Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affects the quality of life of thousands of soldiers and veterans. While the Army offers several programs to help soldiers receive post-traumatic stress disorder treatment, private treatment can offer additional options not available through military medicine. The Army has specifically highlighted Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT) as a private post-traumatic stress disorder treatment that comes highly recommended by veterans.
Rapid Resolution Therapy® is a type of post-traumatic stress disorder treatment that clears the negative effects of past experiences as well as the distorted meanings that become attached to them. RRT is different from therapy offered at military anxiety and depression treatment centers because it is:
- Subconscious focused. Painful memories tend to continue because the subconscious, the more primitive part of the mind, does not understand that the trauma no longer exists. RRT clears and optimized the subconscious mind.
- Therapist-driven. The therapist takes responsibility for clearing the trauma rather than asking the client to relive the trauma. This is important, because it the RRT process allows the client to reintegrate traumatic memories in order to completely and painlessly clear the trauma. Throughout the session, the client is grounded with the therapist in the present moment and kept aware that the trauma no longer exists.
- Effective within just a few sessions. While many veterans see Veterans Affairs psychologists for months, with RRT, clients can begin experiencing peace after one to three sessions. Clients walk away free of trauma in a matter of days not months and years.
Anxiety occurs when a person is threatened by his or her own response to being threatened. When a person perceives a threat, the bodily systems shift causing sensations which are then perceived by the person as a threat. In other words, a person might become threatened by the sensations in her own body; no other animal could possibly be threatened by its own response to being threatened. A person might find the bodily sensations that accompany the increasing strength in the body threatening since when our bodily systems change abruptly it can be felt or experienced by the person as sensations in a variety of areas such as the chest and stomach.
Rapid Resolution Therapy® is a gentle, effective and fast post-traumatic stress disorder treatment. If other treatments don't seem to work for you, consult with a Certified Rapid Trauma Resolution Therapy.
